his blog is being written during the second wave of COVID-19 infections in November 2020. Through a combination of luck and common sense, all of our employees have remained free from infection, which gives us peace of mind.
From a business perspective, we have experienced only a minor downturn, primarily in the sectors where such an impact was expected. In contrast, several other areas of our work even saw growth. This has led us to conclude that there is significant potential across multiple areas of our business. After the coronavirus crisis, we also anticipate that the weaker sectors will recover, and our acquisition team is monitoring this closely.
In short, we are ready for the future. Our confidence has led to investments in people, equipment, and, importantly, a new company building at Sedumweg 27 in Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht!
Boer & Van Wijk has signed for a new company building at Business Park Ambachtsezoom in Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht. Construction at Sedumweg 27 has now begun. This business park is the first in the Netherlands to be built entirely with circular construction principles.
With nearly 190 solar panels on the roof (annual yield approx. 70,000 kWh), Boer & Van Wijk will soon be completely self-sufficient. A perfect step forward as we prepare for the future.

Een prachtig pand op bedrijvenpark Ambachtsezoom, Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht, direct gelegen aan de belangrijke uitvalsweg A16.
Groter dan het huidige, met voldoende mogelijkheid tot uitbreiden van het productieoppervlak. Qua karakter blijven we echter dat oer-Dordtse bedrijf, zoals dat opgericht is in 1950 door Dhr. Geert Boer.
Ambachtsezoom is een circulair bedrijvenpark. De gemeente ontwikkelt het gebied en is geïnspireerd door ‘Cradle to Cradle’ principes. Alle materialen die gebruikt worden voor gebouwen, straten en omgeving zijn 100% recyclebaar. Dat betekent dat de materialen van goede kwaliteit zijn, een lange levensduur hebben en telkens opnieuw kunnen worden hergebruikt. Op deze wijze wordt bijgedragen aan de vermindering van CO2 uitstoot. Ieder bedrijf heeft minimaal 108 zonnepanelen op het dak. Opvallend is de hoeveelheid beplanting, elk gebouw heeft groen aan de gevels en een ruime hoeveelheid bomen op het totale terrein. De handtekeningen zijn inmiddels gezet voor Sedumweg 27, 3343 LL in Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht en de oplevering zal naar verwachting het 1e kwartaal van 2022 zijn.
Alles overziend heeft de huidige tijd ons, ondanks een verschrikkelijke pandemie, toch ook het inzicht verschaft dat er een mooie toekomst in het verschiet ligt.

De eerste contacten zijn in april 2019 gelegd met Dhr. Arie van Wingerden over de plannen om te gaan nieuwbouwen op het bedrijvenpark Ambachtsezoom in Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht. Professionele begeleiding die tot aankoop heeft geleid. Stemar Projectontwikkeling werkt samen met ProHuis Projectontwikkeling.

ProHuis heeft zich als zelfstandig ontwikkelaar toegelegd op het ontwikkelen van woningbouw en commercieel vastgoed. ProHuis hanteert drie sleutelwoorden: “passie, creativiteit en dynamiek”. Dat zien wij terug in de goede contacten met Jordi van der Pas en Arjan van de Graaf.
