The design on the plexiglass was digitally printed on our color-accurate SwissQ printer.
Flink commissioned us to create various items for the Maritime Museum.
Ships are not only filled with cargo, but also with crew and passengers—people on their way to the next harbor, a new life, or an imminent naval battle. This exhibition is about those people and their journeys.
The foundation of the exhibition is the ever-changing yet always constant view of the sea: the horizon.
Flink ensured that this horizon was seamlessly stretched across both straight and curved wall frames, and that the display cases integrated into the walls were as flush as possible. In addition, we supplied freestanding display cases and curved, suspended projection screens.

By printing white on thick plexiglass sheets with our SwissQ flatbed printer, we can create a fantastic effect. This capability allowed us to perfectly translate Dana Dijkgraaf Design’s concept into a beautiful final product. The panels behind the plexiglass sheets were also produced by Boer & Van Wijk.
Of course, you want to know what we produce on a daily basis: how we do it, and with which machines and materials. In these blogs, we showcase this daily, highly varied work, as well as the choices we make and the advice we provide along the way.
