At Boer & Van Wijk, you can order magnetic stickers (magnet foil) in various thicknesses. The thinnest magnet foil is 0.3 mm thick. This option is cost-effective, and its light weight is an advantage when shipping.
If you choose a thicker version, such as 0.5 mm or even 0.8–0.9 mm, the magnetic sticker becomes noticeably heavier. However, a thicker magnetic sticker also adheres better than a thinner one. The maximum thickness we supply is 1.5 mm.
When placing an order, you can send us a digital file and indicate the desired size and quantity.
Magnetic stickers can be digitally printed, but they can also be screen printed. The choice depends on the number of colors, the print run, and, importantly, the intended use of the magnetic stickers.
Digital printing is fast and allows for unrestricted use of colors. Screen printing is often used when only one color is needed and typically for higher quantities. To extend the lifespan, it is possible to protect magnetic stickers with a laminate.
Advantages of Magnetic Stickers
The biggest advantage of a magnetic sticker is that it is very easy to apply, yet also easy to remove without leaving any adhesive residue. The only requirement is that the magnetic sticker is applied to a ferrous (iron-containing) surface, which is obvious.
This makes them ideal for advertising campaigns. The communication impact of a vibrant, colorful image is naturally very strong, which explains the significant increase in their use in recent years.
