The Origins of boer&vanwijk.

On July 1, 1950, Mr. Geert Boer founded our company in Dordrecht under the name Technische Zeefdrukkerij Boer B.V. At that time, screen printing was still relatively unknown, even though the first patent had already been registered in 1907. This technique is still widely used at Boer & Van Wijk today. In 2004, the company expanded and added a new technique: inkjet printing, which has now become indispensable. The company was later renamed Boer & Van Wijk and consists of highly experienced professionals with a proactive mindset, what we like to call “passionate specialists.” In short, we are ready for you, from concept to delivery.

Boer & Van Wijk is committed to developing new techniques within its field and to being and remaining the best at what we do. Every day, we go the extra mile by listening to and engaging with our customers. Our products are always unique and created according to the client’s ideas; their design and requirements are leading. Techniques are continuously refined, new materials appear almost daily, client groups evolve, and with them, the final products. We closely monitor these developments and adapt our techniques and material choices accordingly. The challenges are many, and so are our solutions.

In early May 2022, Boer & Van Wijk moved to Ambachtsezoom Business Park in Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht. This business park is the first in the Netherlands to be built entirely according to circular principles.

With 189 solar panels on the roof (annual yield approx. 70 MWh) and being completely gas-free, Boer & Van Wijk is fully self-sufficient and ready for a sustainable, green future.
