Sealwise panels can be perfectly printed and processed at boer&vanwijk.
Sealwise panels can be printed, painted, sawed, milled, and glued, among other processing options.

The surface of Sealwise WCB is exceptionally smooth. Ideal for screen printing and digital printing. You only need to remove the protective film on each panel when you are ready to print. This ensures the panels remain protected from dust, dirt, and other contaminants that could affect print quality for as long as possible. Remove the protective film in one continuous motion to maintain optimal surface quality.

Most paint systems adhere well to Sealwise WCB. We recommend lightly sanding the surface first. Then apply primer, followed by the paint. For strength and durability, PU or AC spray paint is ideal. Sealwise WCB can also be used with emulsion paints, but we do not recommend this.

Small nails and staples can easily be used with Sealwise WCB. Care should be taken when using larger nails, as they often require more force to apply, which could lead to cracking.

For jointing, we strongly recommend using Sealwise WCB W14, due to its excellent, strong, and waterproof connection with our V-groove joints. Other adhesives may also work, but W14 is the only activator officially recognized by Sealwise. Most adhesives tested well, but W14 was specially developed to leave virtually no residue.

Almost all materials have a static charge – the amount depends on several factors. Sealwise WCB is a (U)PVC product. This in itself generates static electricity. The antistatic additive in Sealwise WCB does not remove or influence the static charge generated by the panels themselves. It does have the added benefit that the electrostatic charges that the panel develops are more easily discharged.

Discharging can also be achieved using electrostatic brushes or ionization equipment. The antistatic additive in the panel is intended solely to protect the panel itself from dust, not the surrounding environment. For example, it does not reduce the static charges for people handling the material.

The level of static electricity is influenced by working conditions and the humidity in the environment. We recommend a relative humidity of approximately 50%–70%.

We are confident that with suitable handling equipment, gloves, and discharge devices, the materials can be treated similarly to other PVC instruments.

Static electricity is not a topic where clear answers and guidelines can always be provided. There are simply too many variables, such as environment, people, weather, and atmosphere. If you encounter problems with static electricity, we always recommend contacting us to discuss solutions.
