Polypropylene
Polypropylene (PP) is a material with high impact resistance and a wide temperature range. In addition, it is lightweight and highly chemically resistant. Combined with its excellent mechanical properties, polypropylene is one of the most versatile plastics.
This makes polypropylene (PP) extremely suitable for technical applications and constructions, as well as for advertising applications and packaging of various sizes. Polypropylene is also widely used in the chemical industry. It is also known as Polypropeen or abbreviated as PP.
Polypropylene-PP is similar to PE but has a higher temperature resistance (up to 100°C) and is much tougher. For example, polypropylene-PP film (Evacast) can be repeatedly hinged without breaking.
