It regularly occurs that our clients require fire-retardant properties for their stickers. Within the Boer & Van Wijk sticker assortment, we have selected a number of suppliers that provide sticker vinyl and accompanying laminates that meet the European standard NEN-EN 13501-1.
This standard specifies the B-s1-d0 fire class. B refers to the class of fire resistance, s1 refers to smoke development, and d0 indicates that no flaming droplets are produced. This NEN-EN 13501-1 classification is increasingly required in public spaces, as well as in logistics areas where third-party products are stored and often represent significant value.
Stickers that meet these fire-retardant requirements are often digitally printed at Boer & Van Wijk using UV curing, which means no active solvents are used.
After printing, the stickers are protected with a fire-retardant laminate. Of course, these fire-retardant stickers can be cut into any shape using one of our digital cutting plotters.
