Stickers for lightboxes are translucent; we call this opal vinyl. Using digital printing, we can print the ink slightly heavier so that the image or text doesn’t appear too faint when the lightbox is on. In many cases, the base is an opal (translucent) acrylic sheet onto which the sticker is applied. It is also possible to apply light-blocking stickers or text for special effects.
There are plenty of options to achieve a great result. For indoor use, we can even print directly on opal acrylic using our SwissQ flatbed printer, up to a size of 2 x 3 meters. Boer & Van Wijk also supplies LED lightbox letters in various RAL colors. With so many possibilities, personal advice is important to determine the requirements for the lighting.
Tip: In many cases, you are required to obtain a permit from local authorities. If you rent a space under an apartment building, also inform the homeowners’ association (VVE) of the complex.

- You can send a file in advance, but of course, this can also be done later. You can find our submission specifications on our website.
